A lighter album
This preview keeps optimized WebP display images and thumbnails, not uploaded originals. Keep your own original backups. Images are resized and metadata stripped; animated files become still images.
Current limits
Select up to 100 photos per batch and block. Each source is limited to 20 MB, 60 megapixels, and 16,000 pixels per side. Current owner limits are 1 GB of charged storage, 200 reservations per day, and three pending uploads. Shared contributions count against the journey owner’s storage.
Formats and devices
The picker accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, and HEIC/HEIF. Not every HEIF variant is supported; export a rejected file as JPEG. Selected iPhone and Nokia samples have been converted through Cloudflare Images, but broader device, orientation and color validation remains open. JPEG XL is not supported. Premium original retention and 1,000-photo batches are not enabled.
Captions and drafts
One Caption field supplies the photo description used by assistive technology. Unsent text and field edits are saved locally where browser storage is available; clearing storage, browser eviction, or uninstalling can lose them. There is no offline upload queue or guaranteed offline reload.
